USING THE STUDIO
OVERVIEW
The Seaport Village Podcast Studio offers a valuable turn-key service with all the resources for individuals to create their own podcasts. The studio, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, is free to use by reservation. A producer/engineer is available to assist with recording and sound engineering at an additional cost.
EQUIPMENT AND SPECIFICATIONS
With Seaport Village Podcast Studio, you’ll be able to record the style of podcast you want, whether it’s single narration, one-on-one interview, or a roundtable of multiple guests. You’ll have access to four Shure SM7B dynamic microphones, each with a pair of noise-canceling studio headphones, and you can bring your own laptop with preferred audio software to plug directly into the RØDECaster Pro studio console via USB.
All parties must bring a storage device or computer to download files during reserved time.
A producer/engineer can provide guidance using the equipment or to handle the recording and/or sound engineering at an additional cost. Contact adam92102@gmail.com for available services and rates.
HOURS AND BOOKING
The studio is available by reservation only. Submit a reservation to request a booking.
Due to the limited availability of studio space, we cannot guarantee a recording time to everyone who requests it. Studio time will be prioritized for Seaport Village tenants as well as individuals and groups that connect to the 5 themes of activation at Seaport Village: History, Arts & Culture, Sea Life & Ecology, Innovation, and San Diego.
